Every now and then I like to share products that I'm loving, and today is that day! Here are the beauty products that I'm loving right now!
First, up, a big thank you to my Twitter friends for the recommendation of this product: ExfoliKate by Kate Somerville. I asked about something to replace microdermabrasions because I don't really have the time to go get those done anymore and the number one recommendation was ExfoliKate. I went and purchased it and the Clarifying Cleanser from Sephora and I am in LOVE! These are really great products!
I recently started using Falsies mascara by Maybelline. I think it really makes a difference! I spend maybe 30 seconds on mascara so it's just a quick sweep on but I feel like my eyelashes look longer and more defined. It's funny - I was just talking with some girls on twitter about a YouTube video I saw all about how to apply mascara - the girl took ten and a half minutes to just do her mascara! I spend less time than that doing my whole face! Ha!
I've always been a drugstore brand eyeshadow user. The thing was, it would take a LOT of it to get the color to show up. I would guess that over the years, I've used every brand available at Wal-Mart, Target and Walgreens. While I was at Sephora I decided to pick up some of their brand of eyeshadow. I fell in LOVE. It sweeps on so well and I use a fraction of the amount that I normally use. So, even though it costs about twice as much, it is definitely going to last WAY longer and for me, ends up being a better deal.
Last but not least, I am completely addicted to L'Oreal Ever Pure Sulfate Free shampoo and conditioner. It smells HEAVENLY. It's seriously like being in a spa. Also, most importantly, it's sulfate free and doesn't damage your hair. I use a dime sized amount of shampoo and a quarter sized amount of the conditioner. It's really great if you have color treated hair. I buy mine at Wal-Mart (I've never seen it at my Target) and it's $5-6 a bottle, I think. I used to use Biolage but I was never happy with their conditioner. The Ever Pure is way thicker and leaves my hair feeling much softer - and is also a LOT cheaper!
