Since we were already in Dallas, my Dad suggested we head down to Ft Worth, Texas. We'd never visited before, but he had heard of this StockYards area, and wanted to go see it. It was like visiting the old west!
They had pony rides for the kids, so both both got to go on their first pony ride!

They also had stagecoach rides, so we did that too!

We missed it but they do a cattle roundup twice a day (I think) there too. It was really neat - there were guys riding horses all over the downtown area, singing groups and quaint little shops. If you have the chance, you should check it out!
