The proof:
Yes, that is a chocolate chip cookie that I am letting him taste. No, I did not let him have more than a few bites...but I do think he would have eaten the entire thing if I would have let him.
I'd say he was pretty darn thrilled:
(FYI, he never is allowed sweets, but I just had to see if he'd like a cookie!). Oh and the itty bitty cut under his eye is from the big bad cookbook that bit him. He loves to tear up my magazine, and I guess he dove in for the kill on one of my cookbooks and it got the better of him.
I'm getting ready to share some details about B's birthday soon! It's just a small family party, but we are planning on having a lot of fun!

Now look, don't make me feel like a bad mama for giving Bailey some sweets now and then. My vice is Dr. Pepper, oh how I wish it wasn't, but it is and she just loves to get her sip of that too, sometimes. She'll say AHHHH! after she gets a big drink. It's too funny. We always let her have some sweets off our plates as long as it doesn't have nuts or peanut butter in it. Nothing wrong with that I don't think!
Don't share details until after tomorrow. You'll make me feel like I forgot something for our big #1 bash tomorrow. But I'm interested to see what you have going on. It's definatly a fun time.
He is just too cute!
He is too cute!
Hi Jenna! I have read your blog since B was born.
I was wondering if you would sometime share a list of places you have found cute things for B. I am expecting a little boy soon and am just tired of seeing the same old baby clothes for boys. I want some cute, unique things and have trouble finding any. Ideas?
Merry Christmas to your family!
I am a total "cookie monster!" Cookies are my favorite treat...the one sweet I can NEVER resist! That chocolate chip cookie looks SO GOOD! So glad that B had good taste like his momma!
Jenna...don't ever feel "bad" for giving him sweets! As long as you put limits on his intake there will be no problems. Everyone deserves a treat every now and then. Looks like he LOVED it!
ps. made your oreo balls. Hubby took them to work and they were gone in 5 minutes. That was two whole batches minus maybe 4!
How cute!
Don't feel like you have to explain yourself. I think we all occasionally give our kids things that they "shouldn't" have! :) I know we do! Brody loves cookies and he loves sweet tea! :)
I gave Harper a "few" tastes of the inside of an oreo the other day. I just wanted to see what her reaction would be. Let's just say when I started putting the package away she was screaming and turning purple.
Apparently she likes sweets.
Hey - in a less than a month - they get a whole cake to themselves. We need to let them have a little before then!
