Who took my baby?

Remember this baby?

I've received lots of comments over the last few months about how he smiles in every picture, how he's so happy, etc etc.

Somebody took this child from me this past weekend and replaced him with a teary, grouchy, non-sleeping baby. I have no idea whose child that was, but it sure wasn't mine.
He was up for 3 nights - screaming bloody murder. My parents attempted to watch him Sunday night and had to bring him back to us because he was so upset. I mean S-C-R-E-A-M-I-N-G. I should have said, "Sorry! He's not mine! My baby doesn't act like that!"
So all in all, I have no idea what happened to him this weekend. It started the night before we left for Dallas. But thankfully, the minute we walked through our front door last night he was all smiles, happy go lucky, his normal self. He also slept from 8:30pm - almost 8am.
Very, very weird. But I'm just glad he's back!

When my Lilly did that, she had an ear infection. She never ran a fever...she just wouldn't sleep. Then, I figured she was just cranky because she was tired. Or, maybe he is teething...maybe just a phase. I hate it that they can't just tell us what is wrong! Poor little guy.

Hopefully it was just the difference in his routine and now that you are home "your son" will be back and all smiles again. I know how hard that is~especially when you are out and about. Hope you see more of his beautiful smile this week!

My daughter went through a faze at about a year when she didn't like to sleep away from her own bed and got really anxious away from home. He might be going through a weird faze. I hope so anyway! And Mary if you think the Two's are bad wait for the 4's when they can talk back better.... Oh boy I think if parents knew what they were getting them selves in too.... Just kidding I wouldn't give up the tantrums for anything.

It can be that he is teething...I have a 1 year 7 months boy and I am realising how weird the teething symptoms can be. Sometimes I feel like crying with him because by the look of his eyes I can tell that he is in pain. Even his apetite goes away :)

I haven't read the other comments but remember I have an 11 month old. I'd say either he wanted to be at home, been gone to much, and wanted HIS home-Bailey gets that way and it drives my MIL C-R-A-Z-Y but really if you think about we get that way too, just want home and nothing else makes us happy so why should they not be the same way. OR I'd say teeth. Teeth make my child be "not my child" too! OR I'd say ear infections b/c we've experienced our first this past week and she has definatly NOT been her normal self. I hope ya'll get it figured out b/c it drives me nuts for her to be that way and I'm sure it is you too! He is too cute though, still!

I have a question? Is he talking yet? Bailey just says NO and Mama and Dada, just wondered if he was saying more?
