As you know, I live in Arkansas. To fly from Arkansas to Dallas takes less than an hour. Of course, that's when they actually fuel your plane up!
However, when they - oppsie - forget to fill your plane up, you can land here:
This is Lawton, OK. And as you can see we were the biggest plane there...the only other plane was a crop duster.So that mere 1 hour flight turned into...wait for it....a SEVEN HOUR ordeal. We could have driven to Dallas faster than that!
It ended up taking us 10 hours to get to Vegas. Fun times.
B man was VERY happy to get into his crib when we finally got to the hotel.

Oh, the joys of flying!
Were you on the same flight as Deanna Pappas (Bachelorette). She tweeted about the same thing- a plane running out of fuel and being stuck on the tarmac for hours and hours- and that she was on her way to Vegas. Coincidence?!

Oh no, is that an American Eagle plane? That's who my husband flies for! HA! He wasn't your pilot though :)
