This time we did take his number so that we can track him down before we drive back there.
Here's a couple of snapshots from the waiting area - the door to the NICU is back behind this wall.
You can see the door on the right side of this pic...
This is the waiting room we sat in right after I checked out of the hospital and the Angel One flight crew was prepping Brayden for the helicopter ride.
I'll be sure to post a pic when we finally get one of Brayden and Dr. W!
And because I'm paranoid, I took Brayden into see his pediatrician today. He hasn't be eating well and has dropped from 17.3 lbs to 16.4 lbs. Of course I'm scared that this will earn him a ticket straight back to Little Rock. It turns out he's fine, he's just going through a phase where everything is way more interesting to him than food. Better safe than sorry!
Oh, and it was his lucky day - he ended up getting a flu shot while we were there! But my big boy didn't even cry!
Oh, and I'm going to do another "You Asked, I Answer" so email me your questions! JennasJourneyBlog@yahoo.com

I'm overly cautious like that too, and I think it's better to be safe than sorry :) Hope you track down his NICU dr soon!!
Aaron gets very distracted during feedings now, too!
I know that's got to be bitter sweet going back there but great for them to see how Brayden is thriving!!! :)
He looks so great, I can't even believe he was in the NICU. Children's is such a great place.
Poor B - he thought he was just going in to see some nice nurses & one gives him a flu shot - I might not want to go back :-)
I've been overly cautious with my daughter since she was born! Tomorrow is her first birthday, so we're going to the NICU to visit the nurses and doctors who took care of her to thank them. We're even taking them a birthday cake!
I'm sure they love to see healthy, happy babies coming back to see them! I swear, B smiles in EVERY picture...so cute!
Can't wait to see how proud your doctor will be of Brayden :)
That would be so nice for you to be able to see your neonatologist at the hospital if you can ever get a whole of him! Those pictures are great. B is such a big boy not to cry during his flu shot...ouch!
We would like to take Harper to see Dr. W too but I have a feeling we would have a hard time ever finding him. He saved her life! I have an appt in Oct so I might try then!
