Thanks to all of you who left me info on Macs! I'm glad to hear that (for the most part) you think they are pretty user-friendly and easy to learn on. The hubs wants to learn CAD and well, you can't really CAD on a pc so we shall see....
So it's time for a winner to the giveaway!
The winner is....

Hi,
I am a follower of your blog. Have been for some time. But when reading your post about your husband wanting to learn CAD. Just FYI.. My husband is a Draftsman for a firm and freelances and has been using CAD for over 12 yrs..CAD is very PC friendly, however with MAC It's not so user friendly, unless you by a program. We would love a Mac as well but we haven't purchased for that reason. I hope this helps.

Ps. If you or your husband have any questions about CAD.My husband would be willing to answer. I would just hate for you to by a MAC and to find out that about the Cad issue.
congrats to the winner!
p.s. i LOVE christmas vacation, ha!
I agree with Lara. I'm an interior designer/CAD designer, and CAD is really only for PCs. Vectorworks is the MAC software version, but I know that most professionals prefer CAD (although serious MAC users will disagree!). Most CAD functions are just easier on a PC.
A lot of publishing companies us MACs, so for writing and photo editing they are great.
Hope this helps!
Go out and enjoy a Mac!
