Ok, really?
All I can say is he doesn't deserve her. She should totally be the next bachelorette!
Yesterday we went to the doctor and and I begged him to let me take Brayden off his Reglan. He did! (Brayden was on Reglan 4 times a day at .7 ml's for those that were asking). It's only been one day but he is a different baby. Chris was on duty last night and he was able to get 7 hours worth of sleep! Today he was sooooo happy. He played with me this morning and smiled and laughed! It was so great! Now I know it could just be a fluke but I'm hoping that the reglan was causing his irritability.

ha ha its funny you say "on duty" we used that term in our house too! Good Luck tonight, I hope that it wasn't a fluke!! :)
Reglan is wicked stuff!!! I can't believe they still use it. My son took it for a brief time 10 years ago and it turned him from the happiest baby in the world to MR. Grumpy Pants that cried non stop. The day we stopped it was they day his grumpies went away! I have heard the same story from almost everyone who has ever used it. I'm not sure I've ever heard a sucess story from it. I am so happy he is doing better. We have said so many prayers for him. God bless you all.

Reglan is the devil. Harper was on the same dosage and she has been so much better since we took her off. And she doesn't seem to have reflux either. I'm glad you got him off of it!!!!
Brayden is so cute!!!
I can almost guarentee it was the reglan! That is some nasty stuff! My ped. dr. wanted my 2 year old on it when he was younger, but was so skeptical to even write me a perscription because of all the nasty side effects! Boy am I glad I never gave it to him! One look on the internet and I was totally against it! I heard a bunch of horror stories too of other children who were so irritable and aggressive! NO THANKS! As my dr. likes to put it, MEDICINE doesnt heal reflex, GOD DOES! So lets just pray little Brayden will be healed!
Yay for the doctor,Yay for for you,and YAY for Brayden!! I hope every day and every night will only get better from now on!! = )
Oh so happy!
Reglan causes increased gastric motility which is a fancy way of saying "cramps". I went on a medical mission trip to Ecuador and got really sick. The reglan causes horrible stomach cramps that come in waves. I'm an RN and never realized how horrible that stuff was till I took it as a pt...
Glad to hear that things are going so well. I have heard some nasty things about Reglan so I am happy little Brayden is now off it.
I 2nd you regarding Jason and him not being deserving of Melissa. Oh, that show made me so mad.
Hooray! I've heard of so many babies being the same way when they came off it. I'm so happy he's happy. :-)
Praying that he continues to sleep well for you!!
Yay for happy, smiling, laughing Brayden! And yay for sleeping, too! Praying for a restful night for you all tonight. Brayden is sooo adorable.

Brayden is so cute! I'm so glad things are going well for you guys now. I've been lurking on your blog for quite a while. Praise the Lord you are home now and Brayden is doing so well. My baby boy was born Jan. 21! I enjoying reading your blog. Thanks for sharing!
aww he is to CUTE!!...my son had acid reflux, it was scary when he was 2 days old and we were about to go home, he started choking on what we thought was his own spit, but it wasn't they did an upper GI and found out he had severe acid reflux, he was on Reglan and Zantac after that but once he hit six months and could sit up by himself, the acid reflux was gone! thanks goodness!! anyway, i am glad he got to go off the reglan!! love your blog!

Glad things are getting better and hope they keep improving!! He is so sweet:)
So glad to see that he's doing better :)
As for the whole Bachelor scam, I mean finale, I was just disgusted at the whole outcome. I'm done with that show. Even though I like Jillian and would love to see her on the next show, I just can't watch it anymore. It has totally lost it's appeal for me.
Yea for Brayden. When you say on duty it reminds me of when Coco was born, Scott and I took turns too. I can't imagine trying to do it all by yourself. So glad Brayden is feeling better.

I'm glad he;s feelign better.
We love Ralphies (Giraffes) at our house!!

I was upset with the outcome of the Bachelor. I hope Melissa finds a much much better guy.
Glad Brayden is doing so well!!
Oh my goodness! He is soo stinking precious! I hope you get 7 hours of sleep too:) How does your duty work?? Do you do 2 nights on duty, 2 nights off?just trying to prepare myself:)

I'm glad he is doing so much better! I know that makes it a little easier. He is adorable!
It sounds like Reglan was the cause of both Brayden's and Harper's irritation. I am so happy he is a happy baby and enjoying life :)!
You know, now that I think about it I took Reglan to try and increase my milk supply with my middle child. That stuff made me a lunatic. I believe Brayden's change probably is due to no more Reglan. It is WICKED! Our youngest son had that stuff for motility purposes. That's what it's usually used for. Not so much for reflux. Yay to your house for more sleep!
He's doing so good! It is so cute! :)
Oh good..so glad that he's off that stuff! I hope you can get some better sleep now!!!! Brayden is just too cuteeee..
It's so good to see Brayden doing so well. It's also wonderful that there are meds available to help our little ones but even better when they can do well without it! Still praying he will continue to grow and bless your family!
I tried posting a comment when your baby was in the NICU, but I don't think it went through. My son, who is 10 now, was on Reglan and it was HORRIBLE. It made him drool, have hand tremors and cry constantly. It is not a good drug. Zantac really helped him and had no side effects. Reglan really scared me. Once he was off of it, he did fine. My son actually took Propulsid and it ended up being pulled from the market and had never been approved for children (killed a few children).
How precious!!! I love the argyle sweater..too cute!
Hey Jenna, thanks so much for sending me the link to your story of ttc. It is an all too familiar story. We have been trying for 20 months now, and after a year we started on the clomid and then just recently started the shot and i had my first iui this month. Please pray that it catches! I want more than anything to be a mom. Stories like yours have me so hopeful though. Thanks again!
I am so happy that Brayden is doing better. He is too precious!
Yay!! Glad Brayden is doing better. He is a cutie!

Ok, I don't watch that show, but now I want to know what he did! I am so glad he had a good night, he needed to catch up on some zzzz's. So do you, so lets pray for a good night!
Oh I hope that taking the Reglan away was the trick. Thinking of you all!!!
Love the giraffe pic!! So cute!
HOOOOOORAY!!!
YAY!!! I have to say I was given reglan in combination with some migraine meds once in the hospital and I will NEVER AGAIN put it into my body. Whoa...I felt WEIRD and TERRIBLE and I am not one who normally has bad reactions to meds. So I am so glad Brayden is free of that!
Hope you all have a great week!
I saw your blog from Angie at Bring the Rain. Just wanted to let you know that it has just been announced that Melissa from the Bachelor is taking Nancy O'Dell's place on Dancing with the Stars. It premiers Monday night on ABC.
